Support » Plugin: jQuery Masonry Image Gallery » I specify 3 columns, but it just fills entire width

  • Any idea why this is happening? I followed the FAQ and used the suggested thumbnail dimensions of 250×999. Setting the number of columns seems to do nothing at all except in the WYSIWYG editor. As far as how it shows up on the live page, it just fills the entire width with as many columns as will fit.

The columns of images are automatically set based upon the size of the container and the width of the thumbnails. If you send me a link to look at, I can tell you what size to make your thumbnails before image regeneration.

However, you can turn off the CSS in the options and write your own CSS to set your own custom widths.

If you don’t want to write any CSS, then I highly recommend using the jetpack masonry galleries. They are more customizable and I believe you can set the amount of columns.

Please let me know if you need any more guidance!

    Thanks!
