I’ve been using Yoast for three years. A lot of work, a lot of changes every time an update is published. No difference made regarding the traffic.
I have decided to unsinstall the Yoast plugin five weeks ago.
My website traffic has increased by 15%.

  • Hi @ddayoverlordwebmaster,

    Thanks for your comment.

We are sorry to hear you’ve decided to quit Yoast SEO. We’d like to point out that the Yoast SEO (and any other SEO plugins) provides you with tools that help you optimize your website but don’t guarantee a given ranking or traffic for your site because Google Rankings depend on hundreds of different factors. Issues that determine rankings include server load, page speed, cache configuration, mobile versions, responsiveness, the site’s content, all of which fall outside of the plugin’s scope.

That said, we’re glad your website traffic has increased recently and hope you consider using Yoast SEO again in the future!

SEO means Search Engine Optimization. Of course it as something to do with improving traffic !

We had a review, and we had a good response from the plugin developers support team.
But we’re not going to start a deeper discussion about SEO in general here and what actions may make things better or worse for a particular site. That’s better done in some blog, on some social media, etc.
@alexs464 For the same reason, I also removed your follow-on question.

    Closing thread.
