I need to un-limit characters shown on just one page, help.

  • I have a wordpress blog witch i use as a web-magazine, on the front page and every other page i have chosen to limit the amount of characters displayed from each post, but now i have created a a new page where i want the whole post to show directly(like a ordinary blog), and just for that page. how do i do? i cant find any settings for this and i have tried to look for solutions but can anyone tell me the easiest way to do this?

Exactly how did you do this?

exactly, i have no idea, i think i used some plugin but now when i try to change anything concerning character limits nothing happens, im using genesis and a plugin called frontpage manager and nothing happens when i try there so i must have changed it somewhere else.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
