I need to edit display type file.

    The base compact album template can be found here:

    /products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_basic_album/templates/compact.php

    I would strongly recommend copying it to your own custom template and making the modifications to your custom template.

    You may need to look at this file as well or in place of the first one I suggested:
    /products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/album-compact.php

    when i clicked on link of any gallery it is showing slideshow of images. But I need to display list of images.
