I need help with media library issues

    Hi,

    I’m very new to WordPress and just fumbling my way around.
    I was wondering if there’s a way to enable my users to access the media library and/or upload to it. I’ve created alternate accounts with fewer capabilities to test this out and there doesn’t seem to be a way for users to access or add pictures or other media. Is this possible, or do I need to make a multisite for each user to have their own blog?

    I could have sworn I could access and add media as my alternate user account during testing, but either I was tired (and imagining things!) or else installed plugins are causing conflicts maybe.

    Here are my plugins:

    Akismet: not activated
    BuddyPress: activated
    HelloDolly: not activated
    Jetpack by WordPress.com: activated
    Members[by Justin Tadlock]: activated
    Ultimate TinyMCE: activated
    User Avatar: activated
    WP Easy Gallery: not activated
