I need help with changing the margin on just the home page

I need to change the top margin on my left-sidebar (.left-sidebar #secondary) just on my home page. I was able to do it for the content just on the home page but can’t figure out the sidebar.

I already tried:
.home .left-sidebar #secondary
.left-sidebar .home #secondary
and neither worked.

I have been searching through the forum but haven’t had any luck finding an answer. I would appreciate any help figuring this out!
