• Hello, I’ve been looking all over the place trying to find plugins for 2 tasks. If there are no plugins for what I need done any type of help will suffice. Here’s what I need. First, I am running an online store. Underneath each product has a “category tag” for users to click to find other products in the same category. These tags are in text. What I want is to do is change these tags from “text” to a “button”. I also want these buttons to all have the same button title regardless of the category tag name. As of now, These category tags are aligned at the bottom left of each product and I would like to have them aligned to the bottom right of each product. Second…. I would also like a button on the bottom of each product where users can click and this button will add a copy of the products image to the sidebar. So that the user can compare the product with other products. It would sorta be like an “add to cart” button but instead it would be “added to sidebar”…. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This can also be done with a drag n drop method if it would be easier than creating a button for this function. Thanks

  • Your first request sounds like you want to change the appearance of the links from simple text to something looking like a button? That’s a job for css in your theme, easy. If you’re using somebody else’s theme then you’ll need to make a child theme and add some simple css rounded borders or whatever to make your buttons. Anything to do with appearance is theme html/css.

Your second request requires a plugin for “Compare products” or something like it .. I just Googled quickly and found these:
    http://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-compare-products/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ecommerce-compare-products/

Thanks Sonic1243, But I am already aware of your responses. I need to know exactly what it is that I need to edit to change the text into buttons, I’ve already contacted the support forum for my theme and they said they can’t provide that type of level of support. 2nd Those plugins do not provide “Images” of the products in the sidebar, only links. I am using woocommerce, so the one for wp-ecommerce would definitely be out of the question. I appreciate your help….. anymore suggestions?
