    hey gioni,

thx for this great tool! it helped a lot reducing traffic which got my sever down too often. unfortunatley i can t login myself any more. i get a 404 on wp-admin. does it mean the login page is moved? i m using the plugin in mostly default settings. does it move the login page by default? don t think i requested that. unfortunately i also don t get the admin emails, can t find them. i also tried loggin in from different PCs and different IPs but always 404. is there a way? or do i have to do the reset uninstall plugin? what measures to take so this doesn t happen again?

    thx!

    Hi!

It depends on your settings. If you, by chance or on purpose, have checked Disable wp-login.php you can’t use default wp-login.php anymore.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Remove the plugin folder wp-cerber manually (e.g. using FTP).
    2. Log in to the site as usual using wp-login.php.
    3. Reinstall plugin and check Custom login page section on the Main settings screen of the plugin.
    4. If you have checked Disable wp-login.php you also need to activate Custom login URL. Enter whatever you want in that field.
    5. Check admin email for notification letter.
    6. Remember your new Custom login URL.

    See explanation: http://wpcerber.com/how-to-rename-wp-login-php/
