• Easy to set up and start using. It worked smoothly and I created a few links. A few days later I discover that my site was broken and the fatal error was from this plugin. I had to deactivate it to get my site working again.

    It’s a shame as I had really liked it.

    Hi,

    Glad to hear that you like this plugin.

    And sorry to hear that you faced critical issue with this plugin.

    It would be great if you can create a support thread for that. We would love to fix the issue for you.

    This review section is for the review. So, we encourage you to create a support thread instead of posting a review.

    We have tested it multiple times on our setup and it’s working fine without any issue.

    It would be great if you can share the fatal error which you were receiving? We would like to see and fix it.

    @kaizencoders I did not start a support thread because I simply deactivated, uninstalled, and moved on.

    I am using a different plugin for this need now as I don’t have time to troubleshoot and risk further downtime on my site.

    I do have a PDF of the error as displayed on the website that was shared with me by the visitor that reported the break. I am happy to share with you to help you narrow down the issue, click here (it looked like maybe a conflict with Jetpack?)

    Spent 3 hours to fix the bug / needed help and could not find the fault / will delete the Plugin

    Will update you on this.

    @bandora & @peblogger

    We have checked and found that the error is occurring due to some other plugins which use the ‘the_permalink‘ filter and passing fewer arguments than 2.

    But, we have handled it into URL Shortify and released a new version 1.2.8 with the fix.

    Please upgrade URL Shortify to 1.2.8 and check once again and let us know how it goes.

    @bandora Did you get a chance to check with the latest version of URL Shortify?
