If you look at my blog (http://www.SecondSeeker.com) you see a usual WordPress Blog. I’m using the left and right sidebar Anaconda theme.

Right now each post has its title and then the text of the post. If you click on the title, you go to the post page where you see the title in small letters. If you click on a post, say http://secondseeker.com/?p=111, you’ll see the author info, date, Categories items as well as the Comments items beneath it.

All that extra matter USED to show up on the main page. It is no longer there and I have no idea how I made it disappear!

I was messing about with the php files but I save a backup and I restored all of them from the original Anaconda theme distribution.

Can anyone help me? I’d like to get them back.

    Thanks.

    Paul

  • Are you using some kind of “frontpage” plugin that makes a Page your main page instead of the index?

That was it! I experimented with one, set a page to be “home” via its slug. Saw that it worked and I didn’t like it and changed the slug back. I just deactivated it and woo hoo, it works fine again.

    Thanks moshu, you rock!!!!
