I lost ALL of my previous FB comments after rebuilding website! How come?

    I just rebuilt a site with Themify and all of my previous FB comments disappeared even though I’m using the same FB App number.

    I activated the Twenty Seventeen theme and that didn’t bring back my previous FB comments either so I know it’s not the new theme.

    Does anyone know how I can get all of my previous FB comments back?

    This happened to me too and I’m also currently looking for a solution. It also happened to me around the same time frame (about 3-4 weeks ago).

    The only two changes I made to my site at around this time was:

    (1) Upgrade my shared hosting account to a more powerful one (but with the same host, SiteGround)

    (2) Switch from http to https.

    For what it’s worth, my site is https and the FB comments were working fine before I switched themes. The difference though is that my site was https BEFORE I enabled FB comments. And yes, lets hope someone can help. 🙂
