    Hi @geovais,

You would have to reset AAM settings manually. Go to the wp_options database and remove all settings that start with aam_ prefix.

If you managed access to your specific user, then you need also reset all user settings. Go to wp_usermeta table and do the same as with wp_options.

    Hi!

I was trying to create a new level. After hitting “Create” I was locked out and now my /wp-admin URL shows a cannot access message.

    What to do?

    Hi @tinuzzo,

Ok. Seams like you restricted access to the dashboard. Did you create a custom capability access_dashboard? If so, seams like it was not assigned to your user or role. By default any new capability is assigned to Administrator role.

    Keep me updated.

    Thanks for the prompt response!

I did not manage to get to a screen that would allow e to specify the WHAT, only the name of the level, after hitting Create, the /wp-admin became inaccessible.

I do have phpmyadmin access, can I reset everything from there?

Yup, you can. Please send me what is in the wp_options table with option_name wp_user_roles key. Or even better if you can send me the entire wp_options dump.

    Use support@aamplugin.com email.

    Thank you,
    Vasyl

This is the content of the wp_user_roles:

    a:1:{s:10:”translator”;a:2:{s:4:”name”;s:10:”Translator”;s:12:”capabilities”;a:2:{s:4:”read”;b:1;s:10:”loco_admin”;b:1;}}}

    Dang,

You lost all your capabilities. There is only one role “Translator”. Seams like there was some really heavy role/capability customization on your site.

You would have to restore all caps manually. I can help you, but you should send me wp_options dump

    Regards,
    Vasyl

    Sure, just emailed you.
It was no special setup, just 2 roles which existed for years without conflicts.
