    Sorry to let this plugin go.
    I liked it before but now since Dec 30th, 2019 database are expensive!

    *UPDATE:
    After many, many emails to Maxmind support (as I was not able to get an account)
    I was able to subscribe and download the database.
    Therefore I changed my review.

    The free database still exists you just have to register at maxmind to download due to legislation

    Pity you downvote a plugin for this reason.

    Can you tell me how?
    They want 24$ monthly.
    If I try try to subscribe there is no “for no personal use” option and
    the confirmation email never arrived: twice!

    Pity I cannot use the plugin without databases.

    It is on the Geo2Lite page at the bottom: https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/geoip2/geolite2/

    You can signup for a free account and by logging into the account you can still download the GeoLite2-Country database file.
