  • I tried the plugin about a year ago but couldn’t get it to work in the way I needed it to, so I uninstalled it again. The need for online booking appointments remained, so last week I gave it another try. And things sure have gotten a lot better. I love the bulk feature that allows you to tie workers, locations and services together and add them to the same schedule. Email notifications are easily customized just the way you want them. Workers can manage their own appointment requests by accepting or cancelling via a link in their email notification which promptly sends out the confirmation/cancellation mail to the customer. Understand that this part needs some setting up and testing. You have to make sure for yourself that it works. Only a fool would install it and leave it to the gods to get the mail function to work. You could end up with a no show on your side. Now wouldn’t that be embarassing?

    Yet I see room for improvement. Managing worker availability would be a lot easier from the worker tab than from the connections tab. Allowing users to freely select the length of their appointments would be another great feature. Asking for service in a particular timeslot without specifying a preferred worker and let the first that says dibs get the job, would be nice too.

    Anyway, very impressed with the progress. Paid a little forward by translating your plugin to dutch (trunk and stable version). Keep up the good work.

    ik ben ook op zoek naar een afspraken plugin en was benieuwd of je Easy Appointment inmiddels gebruikt en wat je ervaringen zijn tot nu toe.
