• Hi,

I have multiple custom post types in my wordpress website and I want to give users access to only one custom post type not all.

Even though they cannot edit, delete or publish anything, it is just in the dashboard with options of add new and submit for review which is redundant and not needed.

    Any resolve?

    Thanks in advance
    Ani

It seems those custom post types use the same user capability type ‘post’ and finally protected by capabilities like ‘edit_posts’.
If those post types definitions are available for you (you defined them yourself) change capability type they use for the different one for every CPT.
If CPTs are defined by plugins, you may force those CPT to use its own user capabilities set with special option available at Pro version of User Role Editor.

    Hi,

I have multiple products on my site, and I want certain users with a specific user role to have access to those products, and no one else can access those products.

Any help regarding this will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
    Shivank
