    G’day James,

This plugin doesn’t support conditional logic on the PxPay feeds. Maybe in a future version, most likely in the non-free version sometime later this year.

    cheers,
    Ross

Gutted … I just came onto the support forum to work out how to do this. I’ve got exactly the requirements – wanting to give customers the option of invoice, online banking or DPS. So a 1+ vote for this one from me Ross. I’ll have to find a different solution for my client for this project, but I expect I’ll have other projects in the future that will need this, and will be happy to pay for the upgraded version.

Yup, I’m happy to pay. I assumed that this was the standard functionality :S I guess I need two forms…

I wrote this plugin before the Gravity Forms Add-on Framework was stable. I plan to rewrite the code using the Add-on Framework, which very easily adds conditional logic to feeds. Adding conditional logic to the existing plugin isn’t easy, and the rewrite brings other benefits, so that’s the way I want to take on this.

But it will take time, something I have in depressingly small amounts at present. As such, I don’t expect to have it done until later in the year.

    cheers,
    Ross

Thanks Ross. I’ve actually just found a way to make the options of invoice/online banking/DPS work right now. This doesn’t work for giving additional payment options like PayPal, because DPS PxPay can still be the only credit card payment, but this is how one company I’m working with has made it work:

    1) Have a radio selector asking, “How would you like to pay?” Options: Invoice, Online Banking, Credit Card.

Then have two sections – one for credit card payments and one for the other payment options. Make these sections only show when the appropriate radio button is selected.

In the credit card section has the Product Gravity Forms fields that the customer can choose from.

In the other section just use standard dropdown, radio or number fields, with a calculated number field to show the total.

By doing this, DPS PxPay will only trigger if the product fields are filled in – which is when they have chosen to pay by credit card. If they choose to pay by invoice or internet banking, there are not product fields, so DPS PxPay doesn’t trigger and it goes straight to the confirmation screen.

It’s not a perfect solution because it means that the quantity and product fields will look a little different to the customer based on whether they choose credit card or the other forms of payment. But overall it’s a good work-around for this situation if you only have a few things the customer needs to choose from. My client is selling tickets to an event, and there are just three different types of tickets, so it is working well.
