what do you mean by – doesn’t work? is it on the page?
There’s a tab for Visual, but no buttons appear when it’s clicked, and no formatting comes forward–no links, bolding, etc. when copying from Word.
Have you tried increasing the memory available to PHP?

It’s in the same folder you installed WordPress into.
I didn’t install WordPress.
The wp folders are in public_html, but wp-config.php isn’t in it or any of its subfolders.
It should be in the WordPress folder. Ensure that your FTP client or file manager is configured to show all files.
The only config file I find is /public_html/wp-admin/setup-config.php which says that wp-config.php was supposed to be created in its directory, but if not I can manually create it using wp-config-sample.php as a basis, but it doesn’t exist, either.
It should be in public_html. Try asking your hosts for assistance.
I finally found it, thanks.
I increased the memory to 256M and it still doesn’t work.
The memory bump plug-in doesn’t work.
My host increased my memory limit to 128Mb, and the post editor still doesn’t work.
I added “php_value memory_limit 32M” to the.htaccess file, and the website wouldn’t come up at all.
This worked, from Techcorner:
To fix WordPress visual editor not showing, follow the steps below:-
FTP to your web server
Download your wp-config.php and add this line of code at the bottom of the file before the “require_once” line.
define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false );
(*remember to backup the original wp-config.php)
Once done, upload the wp-config.php to your web server again. Now refresh your wordpress page and you should see the Visual Editor now.
