• I bought Bluehost and I have installed “WordPress” through mojomarketplace. It told me to go to my blogs wp-admin page, when I do it leads me back to a new admin page that looks a little different thant wordpress.com but still is just wordpress.com and I can’t add any plug ins. I don’t know what to do next. My domain is hosted outside of Bluehost on GoDaddy, and is pointed to Bluehost and wordpress already. I just want to be able to add plug ins! What do I do.

Make sure that you’re logging in at http://foodforflowersblog.com/wp-login.php

That’s your blog’s Dashboard, and you should find a Plugins section there. 🙂

Hello! Yes I did try to use that log in, but the login I set up on Bluehost was not working. Only my original wordpress.com login would work. when I tried to download the JetPack plugin, I recieved an error message that my website was still using wordpress.com.

I have heard that sometimes manual installation of wordpress on Bluehost is needed to resolve some of these issues. Do I need to manual install?

I don’t know, you haven’t quite said what the problem is yet.

What exactly happens when you try to log in at http://foodforflowersblog.com/wp-login.php ?

Do you see any errors you could quote?

The username and password is wrong. The problem is that I have installed wordpress through Bluehost, but when I am on wordpress it is still a “wordpress.com” account and the install is not following through. I cannot access plug ins, and the wp-admin only works if I log in with my original wordpress.com login info, not the information I set when I installed wordpress.

Ok, I’ve seen that before with mojo installs. Try the Lost Password link on the login form.

I tried that and it said it could not find my username! Should I just uninstall the wordpress and reinstall manually?

At this stage, yes, I think installing manually would be best: https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress#Detailed_Instructions
