• Hi, my blog http://www.healthandmoneyonline.com desapeared after installing a free wordpress theme. I went on and delete the theme via filezilla, but I think that was not good, becasue anyways the problem was not solved. that theme was active and I though if I deleted it was going to take the default theme, but it did not happen.

Please if someone have have a similar situation and can help me, it would be greatly appreciated!

I do not remember the theme, I searched for a free business theme with video and adsense ready.

  • Does this help?

    WARNING!!

Back up your database before you do this!!

Also, I haven’t tried it so I don’t know if it works, and I don’t appear to be able to access the comments to see what other people thought. If it does work, some feedback would be nice.

    Cheers

You may be able to search your database and see what theme it believes it should be using, find that theme and put it back on the server.

    Thanks a lot !

rt49andellis: I tried reinstalling the theme throught filezilla, but it did not work. anyways thank you.

Peredur: I am in the process of searching how to back up my information, I found something on google but I am still confused. when I do that I’ll try your suggestion and post my results in here.

    Thanks again.

@ruthlee1, if you have your website on a hosting server that has cpanel you can access a few great tools to easily backup your website and database.

go to your website’s url and add “cpanel” to the end. Like this…

http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel and if you have cpanel on your server you should be able to access it.

It depends on who you host your website with.
