I have not received opt-in confirmation email

    I updated the Contextual Related Posts plugin to version 3.5.1. The new version offered the opportunity to opt in to receive email notifications for various issues.

    Yesterday, I opted in and this message appeared on my blog: “Thanks! You should receive a confirmation email for Contextual Related Posts to your mailbox at ———.com Please make sure you click the button in that email to complete the opt-in.”

    I have not received the confirmation email.

    Can I check what your site URL is where the plugin is installed so I can check.

    Were you able to check your spam folder in case it found its way there?

    For some reason I can’t see this in our list – probably because of the email. Please could you go to your Plugins page and see if you see the Opt In button as one of the links below the plugin name.

    I might have to check with Freemius why this didn’t come through.

    On a separate note, I’ve yet to use any of the details of people opting in, as you know it’s still quite new. My thinking is to incorporate all this into an email list – but it’s evolving.

    All updates will continue to come as normal within your WordPress dashboard as earlier.
