• I’m using WordPress as a content management system for a news website, and I wanted to add social bookmarking to the articles. I’ve tried to include a plugin for this, but I have no idea what/where my wp-content/plugins/ directory is. All directions for social bookmarking plugins tell me to upload the file to this directory. Everything on my administration pages is marked with _wp/wp-admin/. In case you can’t tell, I’m a total novice and just need a little guidance on how to find and use this plugin directory so I can upload and activate plugins. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • go to your server to >> wp-content and open that folder, you will see another folder in there called plugins. Open that one and drag the plugin folder there. Easy as that.

Help! I don’t know how to “go to my server to =wp-content” – can anyone please help? I’m trying to load the plugin to ping from my blog, and then use the ping optimiser. I would be so grateful for any help. Thank you.
