I tried to reply to my previous post, but for some reason it was removed from the site.

The problem with the prices showing up wrong is that the plugin shows the lowest price from the list of all sellers of a product. However, the landing page (amazon.com/dp/asin) shows the lowest available new item price for product that is currently in stock.

Essentially, the plugin is grabbing prices from products that are back-ordered. The website does not show the price of back-ordered items unless you click through to see “other sellers on Amazon”. Thus, the plugin will say a product is $339, but amazon.com/dp/asin will show the price as $381.48 because that is the lowest price of what is currently ready to ship.

Can the plugin please be adjusted to ignore back-ordered items?

I would like to add another issue I have noticed. I am seeing a price on my website of $12 for a product, but when I go the page on Amazon, it shows a price of $17.95. If I look at “other sellers” there is one for $12.00 + $9.95 shipping.

So, with that in mind, can the app also make sure to include shipping costs when grabbing the current price?

That is already two pricing mistakes that this app causes, which will confuse our customers. If the amazon affiliate terms require us to display accurate pricing or risk a ban, then it would be imperative that this app actually shows the price that customers will see when they click through a link.

With the below product, it is pulling a price of $1.49 and the landing page is $2.28:

    When I look at other sellers, I find: $1.49 + $5.99 shipping + $0.00 estimated tax

So, again, it is pulling the lowest price without accounting for shipping, then showing that price on my website. When clicking through to Amazon, we see the $2.28 price with Free Shipping for Prime Members.

    Hi MikeX3,

We have modified and corrected pricing logic with v1.4. You must be getting correct prices now. Can you confirm?

    Much improved!

Out of 50 products that I tested, only 1 had an inaccurate price.

This was due to the price on my site being related to “Standard Packaging”, but when landing on Amazon, the price shows for “Frustration-Free Packaging”.

This isn’t too bad, because the price is a few dollars lower when landing on Amazon.
