You fixed it with chmod 77?

debug in firefox gives
he character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.
it makes the wordpress front page turn into a 404 not found, but my nginx setup doesnt have alot of different error pages.
it seems like a permission issue, but then i notice the bit about msm. I looked it up. I will make a new post asking what this is now.
