  • How you deal with meta tags IE
    <meta name=””>
    <meta name=”Description” content=””>
    <meta name=”keywords” content=””> etc
    I usually insert them in to a header section of the theme
    however I have done some testing and it seem that I might not doin it correctly

    Any suggestions

  • Hi Akev,

    Have you the WordPress SEO by Yoast plug-in? It will allow you to set meta data from within the post editor.

    Or are you asking this from the POV of a theme designer?

    So you do not meta data in the header of the site?
    Lie we use to do it on regular HTML/CSS sites..

    There is meta data, but you don’t need to write it yourself. Using that plugin, you can specify the meta data from the post editor, and the plugin generates the code and inserts it into the header.

    Just to be clear, you’re running a blog, right? If you’re designing a WordPress theme, that’s a different subject.
