I have a question about wordpress 4.9.20 version

    Hello there, 4.9 was released on November 15, 2017; however, 4.9.20 was released on January 6, 2022, and it’s a security update.

    This is an archive of every release we’ve done that we have a record of.
    None of these are safe to use, except the latest in the 6.0 series, which is actively maintained.

    However, branches starting from 3.7 are receiving security and critical bugs updates. It is not guranteed that you wont have problems with other components
    (old PHP version, plugins and themes) if you dont update them and newer versions are not supporting old WordPress versions. It is advised to keep your running WP version reasonable fresh.
