I want to be able to change the Yellow Color to Black on the Business name. Also, my sign-ups logos look terrible on the website. They aren’t formatting to fit. Also, I want to know under the directory theme page, if I change a theme, can I change it back without ruining the 28,000 pages.

FYI,can I make these changes in my wp-admin backend, as I have no other skills os of the wp-admin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @toolboxpros71,

Answers to your questions inline below.

I want to be able to change the Yellow Color to Black on the Business name.

This is something you can do with custom CSS. Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/

Also, my sign-ups logos look terrible on the website. They aren’t formatting to fit.

Not sure I understand what the issue is there…it’s possible it’s an image sizing issue, but it could be a template issue. Can you please explain what you mean by “not formatting to fit”?

    A screenshot might help.

Also, I want to know under the directory theme page, if I change a theme, can I change it back without ruining the 28,000 pages.

Yes, the directory theme does NOT affect anything on your site except the BD listings.

FYI,can I make these changes in my wp-admin backend, as I have no other skills os of the wp-admin.

The custom CSS cannot be done in the back end…you’ll need to use the instructions provided in the link above to edit the file and upload it to the proper directly.

If you feel like that is outside of your skillset, there are a few great resources to help you out here.

    1) Tilden Tasks: https://tildentasks.com/ They will also do longer WordPress tasks, but they break it down to 1 task per day.
    2) Codeable, which has WordPress expert developers available for short-term projects: https://codeable.io/
    3) Samantha Munoz, independent contractor: https://www.samanthamunoz.com/
    4) The last option would be hiring a developer on Upwork (formerly known as oDesk) to help out if you think this is beyond your current skill set. http://upwork.com There’s a lot of decent folks on there as well.

Please let me know if you have any further questions!
