I saw several bugs I found myself are corrected, but they’re only available on the cvs repository — which i do not know how to use. I think a couple newer bugs have been rolled into that release. * (If you’re looking to keep up with the development process, a lot of people hate sourceforge and CVS in general: [http://wordpress.org/download/svn/](http://wordpress.org/download/svn/)) * Thread Starter [denisdebernardy](https://wordpress.org/support/users/denisdebernardy/) * (@denisdebernardy) * [21 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/i-hate-sourceforge/#post-150655) * actually, i’ve the 1.5 up and running. but then, there are some bugs in the 1.5 that weren’t there in the 1.5. go figure… * i normally submit bugs when they’re not identified already. the thing here is they were all identified, so i figured i might want to download a more stable, less buggy nightly build. et voilà… no nightly builds anymore. * what troubles me here is the logic behind the choice for cvs and sourceforge. * arguably, wp developpers will have a better tool when it comes to subversions. but then, they’ve just stripped themselves of an entire community of bug finders who won’t have the patience to download the builds at all. * another thing i cannot find anymore is an automatically generated changelog digest. i remember i bumped into one a month or two ago, when the doc went from wiki to codex. it was never to be found again. if anything, the changelog helps bug finders as well. if i setup a new version of wp, and find a bug that wasn’t there the previous day, odds are good it occurs in the recently modified code. * if you ask me, whoever decided to go for sourceforce and cvs may have taken wp a step forward in terms of subversioning. at the same time, wp went a mile back in terms of quality control. * [Michael Adams (mdawaffe)](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mdawaffe/) * (@mdawaffe) * [21 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/i-hate-sourceforge/#post-150661) * WordPress is no longer using CVS/Sourceforge.
