I get an error message when I try to install WordPress

i have the same error yu can resolve?

I just got the same error message when trying to install. I had created a mysql database and put the relevant information into wp-config.php

Any further suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks for pointing me to this thread. Reading it helped me localize the problem, which was my error in entering the db host name.
