• Hello.

When I try to log in, I get a 404 error and can’t get into the admin screen.

    / wp / wp-admin

    /wp/wp-login.php

    Both methods are the same.

However, the trouble is occurring only on the Mac (OS 10.15.3) that you normally use, and you can enter the management screen from other devices.

I guess Wordfence is rejecting my Mac’s IP address, but I don’t know what to do.

    The plug-ins I use …

    ・ Custom Taxonomy Order 3.0.1
    ・ Duplicate Post 3.2.4
・ Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP) 5.3.10
    ・ Google XML
    ・ Sitemaps 4.1.0
    ・ Jetpack by WordPress.com 8.2
    ・ UpdraftPlus-Backup / Restore 1.16.21
    ・ Wordfence Assistant 1.0.7
    ・ Wordfence Security 7.4.6

    Please.

  • Hey @doonika,

Just to be certain, if you manually disable Wordfence by renaming its directory to something like wordfence.bak are you able to log in?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hi@wfgerald

    Thanks for reacting.

I forgot to write. All plugins were disabled and tested once, but still failed to log in.
