Hi,
it should something like this
04/01/19 19:46:37.981 [92.59.xxx.xxx:46214 1 mi1] [Media] webp replacing: https://domain.com/wp-content/themes/theme/images/logo.png => LSC_Media->replace_webp()@785 => LSC_Media->_replace_buffer_img_webp()@670 => LSC_Media->_finalize()@358 => LSC_Media::finalize()@341
04/01/19 19:46:37.982 [92.59.xxx.xxx:46214 1 mi1] [Util] file not exist: /home/user/public_html/wp-content/themes/theme/images/logo.png.webp
so in above example log , the logo.png won’t be replaced because file “logo.png.webp” doesn’t exists.
Best regards,
Ok, I will check and get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks
One question
I have the website set to only accept jpg, png, gif files when uploaded by users to the server. Would that make any difference?
Despite the above, I can still see the Webp images in server’s folders.
Thanks

Hi,
That’s OK , if users upload files of .jpg , .png …etc
the thing is , when users upload images , and then do the image optimization , with proper configuration , image optimization service will generate the webp images for you.
but , in other case, for example, you have 100 images, you optimized 40 of them then you realized you didn’t enable webp , so you enable it now and keep optimize , at this moment , only the remaining 60 images will have .webp file. in this case you will need to destroy all optimization and re-do it.
Best regards,
Thanks for that.
I can’t see any errors like the once you’ve mentioned above and I can see the the Webp images sitting in the server directory.
the Webp enabled.
Can I have a full screenshot of your media settings. Just in case mine is different which is highly unlikely.
Good feature if it works
Thanks
Image WebP Replacement: ON
Hi @ranaharoon322, as you can see some webp in “03” folder but not any webp in “02” folder, can you check both folders contain the same Linux user right and permission setting?
And @jacksmithy, please provide an advanced debug log on gist after running image optm. Thanks!
