    Hi!

I just started using SendInBlue. I am using your plugin to create forms as they automatically match my website style. So far so good.

Now, in the settings for the form I explicitly say that I don’t want to send a confirmation email. Why? Because I have an automation set up that already sends a confirmation email with a voucher code.

Still, every time I test the form, I now receive TWO confirmation emails. The default one and the one from my automation.

What am I doing wrong? In any case, I don’t ever want to send a confirmation email as I think it is a bit spammy.

Here is a screen shot of the settings:

    Hi Philipp,

I just subscribed and received double opt-in template which corresponds to the settings screenshot you shared. Upon confirming subscription, I received final double opt-in confirmation and automation template.

You can disable double opt-in and just use the welcome email with coupon code. It will provide similar benefits as a double opt-in without adding an extra step 😇

    Hey Dulé,

I am not sure I understand your solution. I just deactived double opt in and now I only get the welcome email with the voucher code.

However, I operate from within the EU, so deactivating double opt in does not feel like a legally ok nor technically sound solution.

In case I missunderstood, please re-phrase your answer. Thank you for the effort!

Maybe to be more explicit: the key issue is that I deactivated sending a confirmation email, but SendInBlue still sends a random default one. I don’t want to send any confirmation emails. I even have it checked off in the form settings.

    Hey!

Any update on this? I think the plugin is not working as intended here.

One more addition, I also use the WooCommerce plugin you provide and here the track events are not created properly. The cart_updated and cart_deleted events are missing.

Any plans and a timeline to fix the two issues?

    Thanks
