Support » Plugin: Simple Author Box » I don't know where to add the code

  • I’ve got my profile set up and I have the plug-in installed… but I’m not sure where to put the code. I am using the Zee News template. Here is what I have done in my single.php file.

    <?php get_header(); ?>

    <div id=”content”>

    <?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post();

    get_template_part( ‘loop’, ‘single’ );
    endwhile; ?>

    <?php endif; ?>
    <?php if ( function_exists( ‘wpsabox_author_box’ ) ){ echo wpsabox_author_box(); }?>
    <?php comments_template(); ?>

    </div>
    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>

  • Hi @sweetjobspot,

    I apologise for the delayed response.
    It seems that you need to add the SAB code to your loop-single.php at the very end of the file.
    However, you should ask the theme author how to disable the default author box that belongs to the theme.

    Best.

    loop-single.php? Shouldn’t that be single.php instead?
