    Hi all,

I am a beginner. Here is the problem I encounter:

When I first got my hosting service, I used the Weebly Drag to test out some pages in my website. Then, I downloaded and installed WordPress from the cPanel of my hosting server. Now I have created my pages through WordPress and published them. However, when I load my website, the home page is still the test pages I created via Weebly Drag, although I can somehow see my WordPress pages. Apparently, the pages I created with WordPress does not erase the old pages. These two system coexist. From my WordPress pages, I can go to the Weebly pages when I hit "HOME" in the menu bar; from my Weebly pages, there is no way I can return to the WordPress pages.

My question is: 1) how do I get rid of the Weebly pages completely; 2) if I want to keep these Weebly pages, how can I load my WordPress pages as my home page.

I hope I make myself clear. Sorry for my lack of terminologies. Please help.

IDK anything about Weebly but if it doesn't give you a way to delete the pages, you can probably do it via FTP.

Thanks Jonas. I can certainly delete it via FTP. But is there a way in WordPress to solve this problem?

  4. If you created the pages outside of WordPress, then it has no way to delete the pages.
