Hey @diegoltop
Just to confirm, do you have the latest version of WordPress 5.4.1 and Yoast SEO for WordPress 14.1? Also, when you mean you upgrade, is it that you are including an emoji in your SEO title in the Yoast SEO meta box, but when you save the changes, the emoji doesn’t appear? Is that the issue you are encountering?

Hey @mikes41720 ,
I do have everything updated in the latest version.

@diegoltop To use an emoji, the database must be able to save them in the correct format. Please check that your database collation support saving emojis. The database (and the corresponding tables and entries) should support 4 byte collations with ‘utf8mb4’.
If you are unsure how to check this, please contact your server admin or webhost.
