    Hello!

When I created my WP page I disabled cookies on my Admin Panel and now I understand the importance of necessary cookies, but I can’t find where to enable them again.. I have looked everywhere on my panel, but I simply can’t find where is that one tick bar to enable again. Could someone please help? I installed GDPR Cookie Consent plugin and it works, but COOKIES are not collected on my site. Please help. I am super lost now.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You can create a link in your footer using a shortcode that will reopen the popup with cookies setting.

    Shortcode : [cookie_settings]

    2 other possibilities :

1° Cconfigure “Enable revisit consent widget” in the “Revisit content” tab of the “customer cookie bar” section of the settings.
2° Put a link in you footer with the shortcode to re-open the cookie consent widget : [wt_cli_manage_consent]

    Hi @bekot9,

You can enable the revisit consent menu as the above user explained or you can clear the site cookies so that the banner is shown again.

Hi! Thank you for the answers. Could you please precise how to add the shortcode in a simple way? Under Widgets I don’t see an option to add a shortcode in any of 4 footers available. I installed plugin called Insert Headers and Footers by WPbeginners and added the code [wt_cli_manage_consent] but it just show this shortcode text under my footer bar on my web. I guess this plugin is not for adding a shortcode. Could you please shed light on how to do it? Or share a link where step by step it’s shown?

I tried another plugin “Head, Footer and Post Injections” and the same. The code [wt_cli_manage_consent] just is now visible on the first page footer..

Did you use a text widget to insert the shortcode ?

Thank you for the reply. No, I should? Does it mean that I can do it w/o extra plugin? Just insert text widget in the footer and it will work as a short code? Sorry, I am very new to building websites.

Yes, just add a text widget and put the shortcode. It will generate automatically the link.

Let me know if it worked…

It works! So it means that my site from now own uses cookies?
