# I didn’t something wrong. HELP!

 * I’m working on a new blog design and so I installed WP in a different folder.
   This morning, both my “test” blog and my main blog have a weird error message
   that says:
 * <?php
    /* Short and sweet */ define(‘WP_USE_THEMES’, true); require(‘./wp-blog-
   header.php’); ?>
 * [http://www.ianandjocelyn.com/blog/](http://www.ianandjocelyn.com/blog/) and
   
   [http://www.ianandjocelyn.com/blog2/](http://www.ianandjocelyn.com/blog2/)
 * The only thing I can think of is that I created a .htaccess file because I was
   changing my Permalinks. Yet, that file was not there this morning and I didn’t
   install it for “Blog #1”.
 * I have no idea what is going on.

 * That’s not an “error” – that’s the code in the index.php file of the WP root 
   folder.
 * Did you contact your host? It looks like something went wrong on the server…

 * My host hasn’t completely looked into the issue (it’s been kicked up higher),
   but they did say that the other PHP’s on the server are working.
 * Is there anyway that I could have done this?

 * I can’t imagine what could you do to have this result…
    Anyway, could you try
   to upload a fresh, un-altered copy of the WP files, let’s say, onto the test 
   installation? (don’t install, just replace/upload the files) Or try another new
   test installation. (as you can see I am just guessing…)

 * Thanks, but it’s working now. It was a problem on the hosts end. I was nervous
   because I was doing stuff last night on it but it was still working after I did
   that. Thought I might have busted something but couldn’t think of what! Thanks
   for your “guesses” 🙂

 * So, my very first guess was right (always suspect the host first!).
 * Good that it’s fixed now. Can you mark this is resolved?
