When I first saw this plugin I thought “neat, but won’t a floating link bar get in the way?” It doesn’t, and it’s really useful if you have a lot of related content on your site that you want your users to be able to easily page though. The ability to restrict browsing to “by categories only” is especially useful if you are using a theme that doesn’t do this by default.
