I changed My php.ini file size form 2m to 80m and its still not uploading

I have a read a number of issues with this topic so I got my host to make the increase for me file size- the message I got from upload my files was This file is too big. Your php.ini upload_max_filesize is 2M. now it says, This file is too big. Your php.ini upload_max_filesize is 80M. the file I upload or at least tried to was 38m can you guys at WP look in to this please.
