    I use v. 4.8.2 and ctf7 5.4.

    I need to upload a file. Before updating I got an error 500 when trying to upload a file. After update to 4.8.2 I can upload the file, BUT it is not in my receiving email.

    This all worked before I used your otherwise great plugin πŸ˜‰

    So, – hope you have time to fix this πŸ˜‰

          <div class="container">

            </div>
          </div>
        </div>
      </div>
    </div>

    When submitting the file (file-421) is not attached to my mail.

    And I have written [file-421] in the attached mail section under email.

    Kind regards

  • Strange… I might have spoke too soon….
    I am using: Smart-Grid v4.8.1 and CF7 v5.2.2 but now I don’t get any emails. I am on WordPress 5.6.2.
    I watched the wp7-uploads folder on the server to see if anything is uploaded, but I didn’t see anything come through.
    I am not getting any errors either.
    @kasper1234 any details you have on how you got it to work would be great!

    the previous version of CF7 prior to 5.4 is 5.3.2 (not 5.2.2)

    I use 5.2.2 because it said in the notes regarding 5.3.2. that it “fixed” some issues regarding file upload, – it was apparently too “open”.

    So smart grid 4.8.2 and cf7 5.2.2 works for me πŸ˜‰

    I deaktivated the “Old” versions and uploaded the “new” ones just as normal plugins, and then activated the “new” ones.

    It looks a bit dangerous to go before 5.3.2, but I guess it’s this “fix” that is the problem.

    Contact Form 7 5.3.2
    DECEMBER 17, 2020 TAKAYUKI MIYOSHI
    Contact Form 7 5.3.2 has been released. This is an urgent security and maintenance release. We strongly encourage you to update to it immediately.

    An unrestricted file upload vulnerability has been found in Contact Form 7 5.3.1 and older versions. Utilizing this vulnerability, a form submitter can bypass Contact Form 7’s filename sanitization, and upload a file which can be executed as a script file on the host server. This issue has been reported by Jinson Varghese Behanan from Astra Security.

    5.4 has major changes, which breaks plugins

    After some playing around, I got it working. I should have tried a bit earlier with CF7 v5.3.2.

    What I have that functions.

    – CF7 v5.3.2
    – Smart-Grid v4.8.1

    Attachments work!

    I have a really strange issue – I have 3 contact forms on my website, 2 of them where made with F7 Smart Grid Design Extension activated.

    The third was made prior to my installation af Smart Grid.

    After updating to latest version of Smart Grid, only the two forms that was build with Smart Grid works.

    I get “Form is deprecated, please cotact the webmaster to upgrade this form.” in the original form.

    Any idea why??

    (@kasper1234)

    If I deactivate Smart Grid, the original form works again.

    ah yes, I see the issue. a bug which I will fix in the next release.

    However, there is a quick workaround, you can simply edit your form and save it again.
