# I can't stop site from using HTTPS / SSL ??

 * Hello,
 * I recently installed an SSL certificate on a site. The site has WooCommerce installed,
   and WC is set to use SSL for the shop side of things.
 * Since installing the certificate, the site ALWAYS uses https. I only want it 
   forcing https on the store, and not on the rest of the site. Of course, if the
   end user specifically requests https for non-store related pages, that’s fine
   with me.
 * After looking at a great many possibilities, I have been unable to stop the site
   from forcing all connections to https.
 * There is nothing in the .htaccess that would cause this. The site addresses in
   the General preferences don’t use https. I’ve even removed from the wp-config.
   php the trigger for admin requests to be forced to https.
 * I am not sure what else might cause this.
 * Any suggestions?

 * Thanks. Although I am not sure how this answers my question.
 * In my situation, I am electing to NOT have my whole site constantly using SSL.
 * It is, however, doing just that. I would like to figure out why, and then stop
   it from doing so.
