I can't lock files

    You should check if there is a .htaccess file created at your wp upload directory (wp-content\uploads). If not it could be some folder permission problem so that the uam can’t create the .htaccess file.

    Yes, the .htaccess file has been created correctly, but it seems that the server doesn’t execute the rules…

    What could be happening?

    The best would be to contact your hoster. Maybe the have to activate it.
