I have just installed “Advanced Ads – Ad Manager & AdSense” in my website, because I have planned to implement a membership offer.
In Google Ads I already had Auto Ads and I checked the flag on Auto Ads in you plugin settings, as well.
In normal conditions, everything works. Auto Ads are displayed everywhere in the website.
The problem is that I cannot hide them!
I tried with a single page, but it shows the ads. I tried with user roles, as well, but if I try to navigate the website when I am logged in, I still see all the ads.
    What am I missing?
    Thank you for you answer.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi paolosub,

    thanks for reaching out.

Since the display of the Auto Ads is manages by Google I suggest having a look at your AdSense backend to exclude them from special pages.

There is also a way to implement the Auto Ads code with Advanced Ads only on the pages you want them to show up.

I also suggest placing your AdSense ads manually to have full control of where they appear.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning

Thank you for you quick and accurate answer, Henning.

My need is not so much to hide advertisements on specific pages as to hide it from certain kinds of users anywhere in the website.

If I placed ads manually, the exclusion based on WP user role would work?

    Hi paolosub,

    Thanks for the reply.

If ads are placed manually the condition for logged in users is recommended.

If you want to determine exactly the user roles you would need the matching condition coming with Advanced Ads Pro.

Please also note that if you are using caching the behavior might differ.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,

For me the condition for logged in users is not good, because I want the first level (which is free of charge) to see the ads and the other levels not.

But if I understand well, with Advanced Ads Pro I could display ads based on the users’ role.

So with my plugin for membership (I wish to use Ultimate Membership Pro), I can define new specific user roles and then decide which of them can see ads or not.

    Hi paolosub,

Yes, please see the list of the tested membership plugins with Advanced Ads.

You can apply the conditions on a single ad or for a whole group on the placement level.

If you have further questions regarding Advanced Ads Pro please reach out directly to our customer support

    Best regards,
    Henning
