Did you run Auto-Selectors?
Selectors are wrong. Pagination selector should be .woo-pagination, next page a.next, prev page a.prev.

OK, it says it is GENERATING PRODUCTS… that’s scary as I have hundreds and don’t want duplicates. I hope that’s not what is happening! 🙁

This option is creating 1 category and 10 products. It is not duplicating your current products.
Please open plugin settings page where you found Auto-Selectors button. There should be now another button to stop it.
The script is not doing anything fancy and when it is done it remove category and products it created. The problem is that it falls on your site.
Most likely there are some plugins that on product creating doing some work and while we created 10 products your site become overloaded.
Could you please check in your hosting log for PHP Errors? Could you please past here a part of it for the time when you run Auto-Selectors?
