• I have sent approx 4 emails now for help and have not received one response.
    
    I can't go ahead and use it until I get support
    
    I have inserted the short code for the basic gallery, but it doesn't work either.

    @hmpk – We respond to every email we receive and always ensure every Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) is answered in a timely fashion. We also make every effort to address all current topics in these support forums as well.

    If you have not received any response from us within a reasonable amount of time then definitely try again … and let us know you did not receive a response from your previous attempts so we can look into what that happened as well.

    PS: You can also have these forums remind (almost) any user they have been referenced in a topic by adding the @ symbol to the beginning of their name. In my case, just add the @ to Cais and I will get an email to my personal account letting me know there is a topic I have been mentioned in. C.

    @hmpk – Just following up on some old reviews.

    I’m not sure what the original issue was with your emails. I suspect they may have been going to spam – either yours or ours.

    In any case, given the overall performance of the plugin these days, a one-star rating seems a bit harsh, and we’re wondering if you might consider revising your rating?
