My site is http://www.privatemortgagelender.org/ and I read where Google wants a Privacy Policy on my site so I can comply with there policies. I had another theme up there and couldn’t get it to work. So I upgraded to 3.1.1 and changed to this theme and I like the look better anyway. I had an ABOUT ME page and a picture on the sidebar in the old theme and it didn’t come back up when I changed to the current theme. I DON,T HAVE to have my mug up there but I would like it if someone wanted to look at my privacy policy OR wanted to find out more About Me they could click on a tag on the sidebar, and go to page two or page three. So, In my header I shows a Privacy Policy and I got it to show on the sidebar but when I click either one they both go to 404 page error and show some generic page with a bunch of other loans on them. I have permalinks enabled, at least I think I do, but in truth the only thing that works on the sidebar is the ADMIN sign in link. I appreciate any help you can give me or point me in the right direction. Thank you.

What does the Page permalink say in Edit Page?

It has the main page link http://www.privatemortgagelender.org/ outside the box and then inside the box it has httpwww-privatemortgagelender-orgprivacypolicy

Is this what you want?
Please try to be patient.
Copy the content of your privacy policy page, delete it and then create a new page. Do not edit the permalink of the new page.

That has been done. It shows up on the side bar and my header now has two privacy policies but none of them go to the page.
Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.

WOW…God Bless YOU!!! It all works now and it looks great! Thank you, thank you, thank you! This has been such a HEADACHE I will get my face and about me page up LATER….after I read of course. Check it out-all of the links work and the Privacy Policy works in BOTH locations http://www.privatemortgagelender.org/
