I can't get line numbers to display

    I’m using the Syntax Highlighter Evolved version 3.1.1 and I can’t get the line numbers to show up in code blocks on my site. Everything else is working so I assume it’s some setting issue.

    I’ve checked the ‘Display line numbers’ option and set first line number to 1. I’ve also tried to pass everything through the shortcode in various different ways like [code lang="bash" gutter="true"]

    Any ideas why this isn't working for me?

    I just solved this on my site. Maybe the same issue for you.

    Open SyntaxHighlighter settings and clear the checkbox for “Use the light display mode, best for single lines of code”
