I recently installed the plugin, set everything up in basic form and cleared off all the red alerts on the set-up page (rename admin, change database table names etc). I also let it ban IP addresses via the check box on the "ban" tab.
This worked fine for about a day and then everything came back with a "403 forbidden - you do not have permission to view this..." type of message.
I went in and found that there was a banned IP address listed in the .htaccess, so I took this out, and it all worked again...for a few hours until it once again gave me a 403 forbidden.
I took it out of the htaccess again and went back into the plugin and disabled the ability for it to block IP addresses, however after about 2 hours it once again 403 forbidden and the same thing had happened.
I have now disabled the plugin, but does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening or any setting I may have missed?
It is running WP 3.5.1 in multisite with domain mapping on a few of the sites and Genesis Framework 1.9.1
