# I cannot setup slider properly

 * Noob question, I know. But here is a picture of my widget area:

 * I tried both Genesis slider and Responsive Slider and I can’t figure out where
   to drag the slider widget to on the right. My mission is to make the slider take
   up the whole width of the page, being 900px so going above the sidebar and main
   text. Any idea of what I can do. If i drag this widget into the sidebar or featured
   image it doesn’t go the full width no matter what. Please help. Thanks in advance
