# I cannot save drafts

 * Hi, for the past few days I have not been able to save drafts. I click the button
   and it endlessly spins for days at a time. My site is EatTillYouBleed.com This
   is becoming a royal pain in the ass. I notice this happens at least once a year.
   How does a novice fix this?

 * Have you tried doing this things?
 * **Deactivating all plugins ** and re-activate it one by one until you find the
   problematic plugin(s).
    **Switching ** to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule out
   any theme-specific problems. **Identifying inactive plugins** in your plugin 
   folder, inactive plugin can still cause problem(s).
 * Also flush your caching plugins that you are using as well as server/browser 
   caches.
 * If all else fails, then you need to manually upgrade your wordpress. Download
   a fresh copy of the latest.zip file to your computer, and use that to copy up.
   You may need to delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders on your server. Refer
   to [ Manual Update ](http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update).
   
   Please keep in mind that you need to backup your wordpress files first.
