    Good afternoon,

When I try to login to my website, redirects to a 404 page. I’ve installed the All in One WP Security plugin and I think that is the one redirecting me to have the error.

How can I disable the plugin if I cannot get into the website?

Thank you in anticipation, this is my website: http://www.perthtourswa.com.au/

    Please help.

    You are probably correct.

Can you access File Manager by logging into your host account and finding cPanel?

    Thank for your reply,

I’ve disabled the Security Plugin through the CPanel, and nothing happen. I disabled all the plugins and still i get the 404 error page, I’ve cleared all the history data and I’m still not able to access the website.

    Thank you for your help.

Do you have the default Twenty Sixteen theme installed?
If so, go to cPanel again and go to wp-content > themes and rename your Earth theme to “earthXXX”. This will disable this theme and force the 2016 theme to activate.
    Try to login.

Okay, you need to talk to the techs at you host’s support, because when I enter http://www.perthtourswa.com.au/wp-admin/, I get “http://127.0.0.1/” and when I enter http://www.perthtourswa.com.au/wp-login.php, I get this error:

    The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

And I am seeing this “UA-47711119-1” in the top left corner of every page.

You are not hacked, because I checked with an online security check, so don’t worry about that – but there is something definitely wrong with the site that the techs need to look at.

And now the site is completely blank. Do you have the default Twenty Sixteen theme installed?

Yes I did changed the theme and that is what I get http://127.0.0.1/not available.

I talked to the Server providers and they told me that it a WP issue, I suspect that is the Gallery because that was the last file that was updated and when I was testing I couldn’t get back. In addition the Security is also preventing me to get access.

    What else could I do?

The website is back if you would like to have a look.

But I’m not able to access WP 🙁

Okay, you can do a complete reinstall of WordPress without losing any content whatsoever, and this is what I propose you do.
You can do this through cPanel File Manager, btu you can also do ti with a FTP client like Filezilla. Do you have one?

I will give you complete instructions.

I was trying to do that in the sever cPanel but when I ran the FileZila it came back as a blank page, there must be something I’m doing wrong.

Thank you for all your help.

Filezilla takes you right into the back of the site. Do you want to use Filezilla, then?

Yes the Server is Netregistry and they have it available, but I need instructions of how to do it.

    I appreciate all your help.

First, downloaded a fresh copy of WordPress to your computer and unzipped it.

Then, go to wp-content > plugins and rename “plugins” to “pluginsXXX”. This will disable all your plugins.

Being as there are may be other files on your site that are not a part of WordPress, I will list the exact files and folders to replace.

The files/folder you will NOT replace:
    – wp-content folder
    – htaccess (if one is there)
    – wp-config.php

    Do not rush doing this!!

1- delete the current “wp-admin” folder
2- upload the new “wp-admin” folder
3- delete the current “wp-includes” folder
4- upload the new “wp-includes” folder

Stop – sip coffee (or tea …or other beverage of choice)

Next, you will first delete only, one file at a time, the following files in your WordPress installation and then upload the new file from your computer:

NOT .htaccess (if there is one)
    index.php
    wp-activate.php
    wp-blog-header.php
    wp-comments-post.php
    NOT wp-config.php
    wp-cron.php
    wp-links-opml.php
    wp-load.php
    wp-login.php
    wp-mail.php
    wp-settings.php
    wp-signup.php
    wp-trackback.php
    xmlrpc.php

There will be a “wp-config-sample.php” in the fresh WordPress. Do not upload this.

This will replace your WordPress core files without losing any content.

Check your site and post back here with your results. I will be monitoring this thread periodically for your reply.
